Rollo Defense Systems was founded by Brent Jex, a retired police officer who has experience working federal task forces, to include gangs, fugitives, and narcotics. He is a 17 year instructor at the Utah Police Academy teaching use of force, building searches, and active shooter courses. He has 10 years of experience in Personal Protection. He is the past state president for the Utah Fraternal Order of Police, where he held the position for 12 consecutive years. He has a direct lineage to Rollo the Viking, who founded modern day Normandy, France, which is where the company name derives from.
